Parameters:

rEq - the Earth radius

f - the Earth flattening

getGeodeticAltitude

public double getGeodeticAltitude(Vector3D position)
                           throws PatriusException

Compute geodetic altitude.

Parameters:

position - the spacecraft position

Returns:

the geodetic altitude (m)

Throws:

PatriusException - Exception raised if :

• geocentric latitude is Infinite or NaN
• geodetic altitude cannot be compute
• the algorithm does not converge after the max authorised number of iterations

getGeodeticLatitude

public double getGeodeticLatitude(Vector3D position)
                           throws PatriusException

Compute geodetic latitude.

Parameters:

position - the spacecraft position

Returns:

the geodetic latitude (rad)

Throws:

PatriusException - exception raised if :

• geocentric latitude is Infinite or NaN
• geodetic altitude cannot be compute
• the algorithm does not converge after the max authorised number of iterations

getGeodeticLongitude
